Hmm the link point to the driver for Intel GME chipset. The intel driver is intentionally not used by default on these chipsets in lenny as it’s a backport and it hasn’t been tested enough. Either you install a tweaked acpid, or you set hal to remap the keys to keys which can be handled by some software, in our case xbindkeys.
